So I have dug up some old paintings from 2004 that I did for a class on children's book illustration.  It was my first time painting since art school, so a lot of it was experimentation and working out the kinks and the rust. 
I thought I'd post them just to see my evolution since I started storyboarding.  There are a lot of choices I'd make differently today, but I do miss the physicality of paint, paper and pen.  And I kinda liked this little guy.
